The Unfinished-Room Problem and How Drapery Solves It
The Problem: A room can feel hard and unfinished with only blinds or shades on the windows, and large great-room windows can feel especially bare. Hard treatments alone rarely deliver the softness, warmth, and layered light control a beautiful Aggieland home deserves — especially against the bright Texas afternoon sun.
The Solution: Custom drapery solves both the look and the function. Layering drapes over your shades adds depth, sound dampening, and an extra layer of control over the bright Texas sun, while giving the room a finished, sophisticated look. Roman curtains — a local favorite — add tailored elegance. Whether framing a large great-room window or softening a bedroom, our soft treatments are tailored to your exact windows from thousands of premium fabrics, with motorized tracks for large or hard-to-reach windows. Financing available.

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Drapery in Aggieland
Does drapery help with the bright Texas sun?
Yes. Lined and light-filtering drapery softens harsh Texas sunlight and cuts glare, while blackout linings keep bedrooms dark and cool. Layered over shades, drapery adds depth, sound dampening, and extra light control.
Do you offer roman curtains?
Yes – roman curtains are one of our most-requested soft treatments in Aggieland. They add tailored, soft fabric elegance, with light-filtering or blackout linings in hundreds of designer fabrics.
Our customers love them in new homes and refined rooms.
Can drapery be motorized?
Yes. Motorized drapery tracks let you open and close large or hard-to-reach panels by remote, app, or voice, and integrate with your smart home – popular for the tall windows in Aggieland homes.
